Published in 2012, “Becoming the Bride of Christ: A Personal Journey“ tells my personal story of God’s healing and restoration in 14 chapters spread across 6 volumes. A handy leader’s guide is available as well for those who wish to engage in this series with their Bible study group.
Published in 2013, “Mom’s Little Black Book: Godly Advice for the High School Graduate” was created as a grad gift from me to my two teenagers who both graduates the same year! My reviewer’s graduating daughter wanted a copy so bad that I allowed the book to become available for public sale. Several youth have been blessed with this book since then.
Published in the Fall of 2013, “Practical Thoughts on Becoming an Author” was created to encapsulate all that I’d learned about self-publishing as an independent author using print-on-demand services. This was published solely as an e-book and while it’s available for sale at various online retailers, this book is also given away free to anyone who signs up for my monthly newsletter. This book was also turned into two $15 e-courses available from the Songdove Books Presents: blog and Gumroad.com.
Published in early 2014, “Dressed for Eternity” was a rather enjoyable journey through the Scriptures learning why God chose the different kinds of raiment and precious stones that He picked out for His Bride. Fascinating trips through the ancient world take place alongside current application of the discoveries made. This too can be used as a personal devotional-style book if desired, or simply read for the fun of learning something new.
Published September of 2014, “A Year in Prayer With Jesus” was born out of the many times I’ve heard people say they don’t know how to pray. The Lord’s Prayer is turned into seven points of an outline, each with their own unique Scripture verse and prayer prompt for a full year. This book is in the process of becoming printable prayer cards, the first deck of which can be purchased and downloaded from gumroad.com. There will be 12 decks in all when this project is complete.
Also published in September 2014 is my second purely-ebook project, “Pumpkin Pie From the Ground Up! (Well, sort of!)”. This book, according to my daughter, gives away the family secret to why my pumpkin pie tastes so nice every Autumn! It may be too late to engage in this recipe book now, but giving it as a gift may help someone when next Fall rolls around.
Another book is in the works as we speak, but will not be ready for publishing till possibly late next spring at the earliest. These are the books you will be able to find at major discounts over the coming 12 days of Christmas beginning December 1st.
