Welcome to the Inaugural 2016 Newsletter!
If only because it's too late to say "Happy New Year!" But here we are at the end of the first month of 2016 already!
How has January been for you so far? Did you make any resolutions? If so, are you keeping them? Why or why not?
The only resolution I began the year with, was to figure out how to get the bills paid. When you work as a contract computer repair tech, this is your slow time of year and that doesn't work very well with debt payments and bill due dates. Family members have been unable for various reasons, to contribute their usual room and board, so January's challenge was to somehow overcome the hurdles and pay the bills.
Was I successful? No. But I did realize it was time to step out of my little hole in the wall and offer one of my courses as an actual class here in the Okanagan. I'll share more on that below. Sometimes it takes extraordinary circumstances before we are able to open our eyes and see beyond the walls of the ruts we get ourselves into.
If such a thing has ever happened to you, feel free to share by responding to this newsletter, or by sharing on my various social media newsfeeds.
