“”God will not hold us guiltless. God will judge us for our silence because our silence is wrong. God calls us to the battle. And if the church will understand this and will speak, we will avoid the horror that befell Germany. But if we continue in this, exactly what happened there will happen here. Time is very, very short.””
I don’t know that we will be able to avoid the horror of what befell Germany necessarily, but at least the blood of those who fall will no longer be on our hands for having warned them what’s to come. The horrors of Germany are already upon us, wearing a different mask and using different methods to commit global genocide! The inflationary economy is now threatening, as is the potential for yet another world war. But government, media, and medical have colluded in ways that only someone like Goebbels would applaud, with many Churches falling into line startlingly willingly, as if it is somehow honourable to follow dictates that clearly go against God’s mandates and principles given in Scripture.
This piece reminded me of what I wrote back in May of 2021: “Is your Church Killing You With Kindness???” At that time, various people in my church and other churches, were taking a fair bit of offense at the idea that they were behaving the same way the German churches had behaved in the ’30’s before WW2. But the similarities couldn’t be ignored in 2021, and can’t be ignored now!
If we see what is coming down the pipe and do not say something, God says in Ezekiel, that the blood of those who die will be on our hands. The Church can’t stand by and say nothing, do nothing, while their attendees march off to die, ostensibly of their own free will, coerced into obedience to keep the freedoms they thought they gave up to “flatten the curve”!
People who tried to warn the public about this behaviour at the cenotaphs around Canada last Nov 11th 2022, were resoundingly shouted down by media and government in every city they tried to raise their voice. The lip-service that went on last year was enough to nearly make me hurl, and sadly, I don’t anticipate this year being any better. People will say with their mouths while shedding worthless crocodile tears, that they honour those who died fighting for the freedoms they have either willingly or forcibly flung away over the past 3 years. The people who pointed fingers and accusing word daggers at The Freedom Convoy, will give speeches around these cenotaphs, flags, and other means of remembrance. But their words are meaningless! Their actions and rhetoric before November 11th and on into 2023 has and will continue to decry their words at the cenotaph as hurtful, useless, empty lies.
Some said over the past 1.5yrs, that Nazi Germany didn’t die, it just moved into corporate, educational, and government support roles of other nations around the Western hemisphere. Klaus Schwabb’s own connections in his family line are enough to give the discerning person pause.
But it will soon be time to pretend nothing is happening, nothing is being replayed and relived, and certainly none of it is happening on a global scale this time, as opposed to one region of the world. In two week’s time, it will be expected that the blinders will go on, if only for one hour on November 11th, Remembrance Day here in Canada, and when the moment of duty to the dead is done, the place of remembering duly vacated, the blinders are ripped off to be replaced by whatever flavour of the next round of freedom-stealing is scheduled to happen next!

One of the ways to deal with depression brought on by stress, emotional situations, health struggles, etc, is to obtain a different perspective on the issue feeding the depression. As many know in my Natural Health, God’s Way groups on social media, I’ve been rather busy with the wild harvest in my area, processing what we bring home from crown land and where we’ve had permission to forage on private property. September became a very tough month on that front due to a host of reasons that all piled on top of each other, leaving me very much feeling as if I’m at the bottom of the dog pile. But the foraging harvest needed to be dealt with, many of the reasons, as busy as they made life, were otherwise positive, but due to hidden health issues that foraging has helped me heal to an extent from, I can only handle so many hours nonstop in a day, let alone a week, and the days have blurred into weeks such that whenever I’d stop, I’d emotionally crash into some degree of depression.
Due to turtling over social/world/medical/governmental situations that caused my church to cave to damaging mandates, one of my usual go-to’s for dealing with depression hasn’t been as easy to come by, and that is service to/for others. In some ways, reaching out to encourage my readers with blog articles, Scripture quotes, and article shares written by others, has been in this particular vein from the offline perspective.
Getting out into God’s creation is another big way to address depression, and this is available daily to me by accompanying my daughter as she looks after her horse. Going foraging once a week gets exercise in as well as coming home with food. Walking across the park to take the garbage to the bins is another way I get outside once or twice a week as well.
Other methods include music (if I could only get used to wearing headphones in our tiny home!!! Ugh!), and this month my daughter has been practicing her harp again in prep for another small wedding she’s been asked to play for. I can listen to her practice without needing headphones, yaaa!
Prayer and time spent in God’s presence reading His Word and listening, are very good ways to deal with depression as well, and often result in the opening sentence of this blog post – a perspective shift. There is that old chorus; Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His Wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.
Sometimes God will take surprising or unexpected things, and use them to put a smile on my face, or an aha moment, thought or idea, or to challenge. God has used video games, music of all genres, a slogan on the side of a truck or building, an image, and more, to create these moments. Sometimes it is important to remember not to read too much into the object chosen as the delivery method, and to just accept the message. Other times, the delivery method itself has much to say on the topic whether the original creator of the piece knows God or not. God does not always endorse the medium the object delivery method was sourced from and words of caution come with the change of perspective.
Such is the case that I want to write about tonight. The source of the perspective shift was very unexpected, rather surprising, quite amusing, but not to be used the way most people, and the culture it hails from, use it. Due to how easily most people tend to fall for the secular use of this source, I won’t give links. It is a matter of spiritual maturity whether this source is a detriment to one’s faith, or another newspaper like the Mayan Calendar.
I speak of the Chinese zodiac. Contrary to the whole personality/horoscope thing they set down, God did set the cosmos into place for times and seasons. We can look at the stars and understand the time of year, what season we are in, and even the Gospel is present in the constellations we are able to see from earth. The Chinese aren’t the only ones to have a zodiac, and even such things, though differently depicted, have been unearthed in various Jewish temples from Biblical times.
For the past number of years now, my daughter has thought to check what animal is coming up next in the Chinese zodiac, because it began reading like a shorthand newspaper going on 10 years ago now. Often this newspaper-like bird’s eye view, would relate to nation-states, global economics, agriculture, medical stuff, etc. Not that this was stated in the zodiac per se, many times it wasn’t. But as a household atuned to what the Holy Spirit is doing around the world and revealing to us via Scripture, music, prayer etc, we would see things in the animal announcement that others would miss because it wasn’t outright stated.
2020 was the year of the rat, bringing with it pestilence (!) and highly suspicious, deceptive behaviour from our governments, medical systems and media worldwide. Quarantines didn’t stop and we entered 2021, which turned out be the year of the ox. Governments were telling us to “shut up and take it” the entire year, being very obstinate, and demanding people be fearful, cautious, hesitant, making them moody and creating quick tempers. Now this year in 2022, we have been in the year of the tiger where the “unvaxxed” had to relearn bravery, develop a strong will, and to make up their minds to fight for what they value. Meanwhile, governments were adamant about never regretting what they say, and working overtime to build an image of power and authority such as Trudeau’s PR office, Biden’s PR office, the EU president, Boris Johnston in the UK, heavy-handed behaviour in Australia (taking after the USSR), etc. Very interesting year to say the least, from an animal perspective being played out by humans.
Remember, that although these things line up, it doesn’t mean we adhere to them wholeheartedly or expect them to dictate how we interact with others. Sometimes they are a head-clopping reminder of what we DO NOT want to be! There have been many years when the Chinese yearly animal had no bearing on life, period. It’s only been in the last few years, that from time to time, an animal portended what was to come.
Well, we aren’t in 2023 yet, but one night recently, my daughter sat down beside me, expressing worry and concern over what is due to come down the pipe, what we know of Rosh HaShannah which began on September 25th this year, and the Jewish New Year began on the 26th, and apparently is a Shemitah year, or Year of Jubilee. In Scripture, the year of Jubilee had a number of events assigned to it depending on if it was the 7th year from the last one, or the 40th year. It was often a year of upheaval as land returned to it’s original owner, slaves and servants in Bible times could go free or make a permanent commitment to the household, etc. So when I’d told her about this year being a Shemitah year, all she could see at first was upheaval, which we already know is coming, and that some are saying could land on the globe within the coming month of October. So we were sitting here on the couch discussing this a little more, when she got the idea to check the animal for 2023 according to the Chinese zodiac.
At first, she read the name of the critter and immediately thought of governments on the world stage, superficial behaviour of the animal, and groaned, going “oh no! This will get rough!”. Remember, nothing is said about governments in these lists of critters. However, when I asked her what animal she was groaning over, it turned out to be the rabbit. Well now! I immediately said I’d get out my hind feet and use them, referring to the powerful hind legs of the rabbit and their rather long claws when they choose to extend them. That comment was enough to get her musing about other characteristics of rabbits, being as she’d looked after her trainer/boss’s rabbits for awhile as a teenager. How they have equally long claws on their front paws, how they burrow, how they can growl like dogs (imagine a cute bunny sounding like a growling dog! She actually heard/saw this numerous times from “Mr Grumpy” as she called him!) Then she joked about wanting to be an Arctic Hare, because they hunt.
I mentioned that in Scripture, God wants us to be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Now she went past the critter list, clicked on the rabbit for 2023, and discovered it to be described as vigilant, witty, quick-minded, and ingenious. Hmmm… Supposedly, according to Chinese superstition, those born in a rabbit year are articulate, clever and introspective, self-contained and self-sufficient. They are penetrating, critical and scrutinising, seeking knowledge and understanding. They like to remain hidden, enigmatic and anonymous. God tells us in His Word to be vigilant and not allow the enemy to take us unawares. As a spiritual warrior, I learned to be watchful. So when my daughter read that description, I laughed.
Further down the page she shared with me, it was revealed that 2023 wouldn’t be just “rabbit”, but the “water rabbit”. When the Chinese add “water” to the animal, an additional characteristic shows up, that of adjusting readily to different conditions. Perhaps this is how the phrase “go with the flow” originated? Being able to adjust to ever-changing conditions and keep on truckin’ is important, particularly now in 2022! Some of the other descriptions they give for the water rabbit are not very appealing, but many people have already shown signs of those characteristics without being born into this Chinese system. “Weak mindset and principles”. As believers, we can’t afford to be weak-minded and our principles need to be grounded in the Word of God, not some false religious, medical or governmental system. Sadly, I fear there are too many out there in that weakness of mind and principle, who will be swayed as they have been over the past few years. But another characteristic is interesting to note here, Gentle and amicable. As much as it lies within us, we are to be gentle with all men, and Scripture says a man that has friends must show himself friendly. We are to be approachable and sharing the Gospel with gentleness and meekness of heart. We are to have God’s mind, which we only gain by reading His Word. We are to have God’s principles, which again, we only get by reading His Word.
But I had to laugh at this critter because they burrow. I turtled 3 years ago and keep turtling again every time global threats breath down my neck. I AM vigilant, ingenuitive, improvising whenever as needed, and I am trained as a spiritual warrior in God’s army! If 2023 is going to be the year of the rabbit, then I see this as the time when God’s people are called to be warriors, on guard for their fellow man, being gentle to those who need it, but fighting on behalf of those who need it as well, being ingenuitive in how we provide for ourselves and those God places in our path. We are to be cunning, but approachable and only bringing our claws out when faced with battle. As a watchman on the wall since my youth, another function of a rabbit’s hind legs is to thump the ground in warning to others around them that a fearful situation has arisen and tell others to hide or prepare to fight. Some of the watchmen out there are getting tired hind feet, they’ve been thumping for so long! I myself have had to take breaks over the years, but when the need to warn others arises, I’m there sending out the warning!
Needless to say, I sent my daughter off to bed with a smile on her face tonight instead of the worry and concern she’d initially sat down with. God gave us a perspective shift in the form of a cute, cuddly, button-nosed rabbit that has powerful hind legs and very long, very effective hidden claws! Bunny rabbits with their pom-pom tails and long floppy ears are loved by most people who see them, but they are not to be taken lightly. They aren’t just another “pretty face” as the saying goes.
We don’t take our cues from secular or false religious writings. We take our cues from God’s Word. There are many things about zodiacs that Christians should not take part in, and weaker Christians should not engage in anything related to them. God however, in Scripture, does use animals as object lessons. So another way to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove, is to be a hunting Arctic Hare defending the den. Are you up to the task soldier???

Because I keep periodically running into moments when I want to share this, I am publishing it here.
Excerpt from Becoming the Bride of Christ: A Personal Journey Volume 5 Chapter 11, Series
Thorns
I heard the DJ on “Sharing Life Together” talk about thorns one evening. She was saying how thorns actually have some beneficial and much-needed uses to the plants on which they are found. This thought came back to mind when I had a brief daydream about singing in a trio with others. In this dream someone said I looked like a rose between two thorns. My thoughts returned to the uses of the thorn and the application is actually quite comforting from both sides of the coin.
The most obvious place North Americans see thorns is on rose bushes, bramble bushes, holly bushes, etc. On these plants, particularly that of the rose, we see something that is very Biblically masculine about these thorns. They protect the tender stalk of the rose stem and its branches. Without the thorn, the tender stems, rose hips and buds would be destroyed by predators out to get the nutrition contained in the plant before it’s time. It was God’s design from the beginning that man would protect woman. . . protect her tender nature and her nurture from those who would seek to pluck her before her time, from those who would destroy her.
Another use for the thorn is most often seen on cactus-type plants. Here the thorn, in addition to protecting the tender stalk, also catches moisture and directs it to the stalk of the plant where it can run down to the roots and provide nourishment to the plant. In much the same way, God’s plan for man was that he provide for his family. This provision was to come spiritually as well as practically and emotionally.
So I find it interesting that what people often joke about when a woman stands between two men is perhaps more true than they realize. Men were created to defend, to fight for, to provide for the tender hearts and lives of those in their care. This was how men were wired and to take away this ability and need to protect and provide is to eat away at the masculinity God built into the male gender. Every woman, even the most feminist among us will have to admit that way down deep, they do long to matter to a guy such that he will protect and provide for her.
When seen in this light, thorns are no longer seen as a painful source of irritation to be stripped away, but are instead seen as a beautiful illustration of the protective, caring, supportive, providing role of the husband and father in the home. The only people who need fear such an illustration are those who would seek to do harm. They should rightly expect that the husband and father has kept his sword sharpened in the Word so that he is able to fend off harmful attackers and cause them enough due discomfort to dissuade the thought of future attacks on his loved ones.
I don’t know about you, but I may never look at another thorn the same way again. And the next time someone calls my male reader a thorn, take it as a compliment that you are protecting and providing for your wife and children. May your sword remain sharp and may you continue to stand in that place of provision, guiding the blessings God sends your way down to the roots of your household, that they may flourish under your watchful loving eye and hand.
I think this thought has particular meaning on Father’s Day, as Father’s and families stop to think on how God has blessed them in their homes.

I John 3:16-24
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Back in 2021, I found myself writing an article about being ready to give a cup of cold water in Jesus’ name, during times of uncertainty, calamity, disaster, etc. Scripture tells us to be ready to meet the needs of others and to practice hospitality. This action is so important to God that it is one of the Gifts of the Spirit.
However, as 2021 turned into 2022, I see more and more voices throwing out the white flag saying, “I just trust God”, or “I trust that God will provide”. When we look through Scripture at all the various answers to prayer for material needs, only a select handful were not brought along by God moving other human beings to act. More often than not, God uses people to answer other people’s prayers. In addition, God will show the person praying, what they must do for their prayer to be answered. Unfortunately, I’ve seen many over the years who missed God’s answer because it arrived dressed in overalls and looked like work and effort that they didn’t want to or felt they shouldn’t have to do. I am reminded of the story of the servant girl and Naaman, where Naaman was disgusted that the prophet would tell him to dip seven times in a dingy river. When Naaman finally obeyed, God healed him of his leprosy.
I want to have us look now at several verses and passages where we are admonished to put our faith into action:
Faith in Action
James 2:14-18
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.Hebrews 10:24:
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:Hebrews 11, Scripture’s “Hall of Faith”
Proverbs 3:27-28
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.Micah 6:8:
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?I Timothy 6:17-18
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;Hebrews 13:15-16:
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.James 4:17:
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
Now some would argue that we are to do nothing, that we are to stand still and wait for God to answer. For many, this is an out for not taking the action God has told them needs to be taken, but for others, there are times when God tells them to stand still and watch God work. When I did a search of my KJV bible, these references stood out.
Stand Still
Exodus 14:13:
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.I Samuel 9:27:
And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God.II Chronicles 20:15-18
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
There was another example similar to 1 Samuel 9:27, where the prophet told the people to stand still and allow him to reason with them from the Scriptures.
The times God asks us to stand still are either for our instruction and correction that would not happen if we kept moving, for God to do battle on our behalf, or for us not to miss that moment when God gives us the next assignment as in the case of 1 Samuel 9:27. That verse preceded Saul being anointed King over Israel, it was not merely instruction from the Word of God.
When Jehoshaphat was told to stand still, the command was preceded by the instruction to go to a specific location to meet the enemy. Once they arrived however, they were to stand and watch God fight the battle.
In these examples, we see instruction, a new course of action, and God fighting our battles. None of these situations involved the obtaining of provision for daily needs.
May I admonish the reader to not allow themselves to slip into Christian slogans to opt out of actions they don’t want to take. Trusting God does not entail sitting around waiting for God to act, unless God has specifically told that person to do so. As the first group of verses show, trusting God more often than not, involves obedience to the directives God has given us in His Word. We are to live out God’s Word in our daily lives, and so much the more as the days get darker.
Let us end with a few more verses:
Ephesians 5:8-17
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.Colossians 4:2-6
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Pink Fishermen
By Marilynn Dawson November 24, 2005
LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Creationism and intelligent design are going to be studied at the University of Kansas, but not in the way advocated by opponents of the theory of evolution.
The university’s Religious Studies Department is offering a course next semester titled “Special Topics in Religion: Intelligent Design, Creationism and Other Religious Mythologies.”
“The KU faculty has had enough,” said Paul Mirecki, chairman of the department.
“Creationism is mythology,” Mr. Mirecki said. “Intelligent design is mythology. It’s not science. They try to make it sound like science. It clearly is not.”. . .
“To equate intelligent design to mythology is really an absurdity, and it’s just another example of labeling anybody who proposes [intelligent design] to be simply a religious nut,” Mr. Calvert said. “That’s the reason for this little charade.”
Mr. Mirecki said his course, limited to 120 students, would explore intelligent design as a modern American mythology. Several faculty members have volunteered to be guest lecturers.
University Chancellor Robert Hemenway said he didn’t know all the details about the course.
“If it’s a course that’s being offered in a serious and intellectually honest way, those are the kind of courses a university frequently offers,” he said.http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic.php?style=9&f=22&t=80973
The Pink City
Local tourism officials plan on turning Tel Aviv into the gay capital of the world; Israel Hotel Association official: Tel Aviv and gay people are a perfect fit
Danny SadehTel Aviv is known throughout the world as “The White City” due to the many Bauhaus-style structures that adorn its streets, but the city may soon be called “The Pink City,” as tourism industry heads are planning on transforming the city into the gay capital of the world, Israel’s leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
“Tel Aviv and gay people are a perfect fit,” an Israel Hotel Association (IHA) official said.

Some Scripture now:
Romans 1:24-32 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (31) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Matthew 24:9-11 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. (10) And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
2 Timothy 3:1-9 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. (9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
This is incredible! This just has me shaking my head in both amazement and disbelief. Two different countries, two different issues, two different groups of people. . . Who would have thought, or even imagined, that two such drastically different issues would be so closely intertwined, not only as a matter of discipline by God, but also as a sign that we were entering or are now in the time before the end???
What a concept that pushing God out of the picture, refusing to accept His truth, would open up society to the behaviour that is trying to shove itself into schools, government, churches, and more. Mocking God’s truth too, as that university is doing, is mentioned by God as something that carries grave consequences. The road such attitudes walk down lead to the situation now facing Tel Aviv according to God’s own words.
This is scary stuff folks! As Christians this is even scarier, as well as gravely sobering! We had the ability to never let society get this way in the first place! We had the ability to keep God in the schools, to keep God in the courts, to keep God in the government, to keep God in the public square of all shapes and sizes. But we didn’t do it! For over 50 years we haven’t done it! Tel Aviv is about to become another San Francisco, another Amsterdam. Why???
The answer lies in the last quoted verse above. . . “high places”. What are high places? In Biblical history, high places were places of meeting, places of city planners and organizers, and places of worship to false gods. Over and over we read about how God raised up person after person, some soldiers, some judges, some kings, some prophets, to overthrow the high places of worship to false gods many times in Scripture. Some such overthrowers were threatened with their lives, others were scared their lives would be threatened, but all obeyed the voice of God to do so!
We too have high places. High places of learning, high places of entertainment, high places of government of all levels, and unfortunately, high places raised and frequented to such gods as materialism, self gratification, reputation, job status, social status, money, position, appearance, in addition to some of the more standard high places such as to actual false gods who take the form now of modern false religious practices. Society has enshrined a form of tolerant intolerance toward religion of any sort. Tolerant of anything that is not Judeo-Christian, intolerant of anything that is! Not just American Society, or Canadian Society or British society or Dutch society, but almost every so-called “free” western society now behaves this way. What are we doing to take back our place of respectability in society? How do we take back such a position if at all???
We do it by doing something that seems completely counterproductive to the goal! We stand up for our values, we stand up for our morals, we stand up for our ethics, we stand up for God’s laws, in the theatre, in the music store, in the stadium, in the school, in the workplace, in the boardroom, in the government office, in the courtroom! Because if we don’t stand up now, we will become “free” versions of China, North Korea, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Northern India, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Nigeria, and many other nations who do not have a “free” society in which to worship and live.
Attackers of our faith from the likes of the ACLU, militant gay groups, far too many higher educational professors, lawyers, judges, and lawmakers are bringing to Christianity a form of persecution now that merely builds on the platform that was laid over the past 50 years. Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms for example is now being used against Christianity instead of protecting it, in the name of the behaviour spoken about by God above, which came about as a result of removing God from most elements of society.
Do you see how all this goes in a circle? First God is removed, then sinfulness becomes normal, then God is mocked and scoffed and jeered, then His followers receive the same treatment, till finally His followers are treated as traitors, tyrants, intolerant bigots, and more! God clearly stated this would be the case for those who consistently refused to acknowledge Him. It was there for us to read many many years ago. But we have sat back and done nothing. Even today, most Christians still sit back and do nothing. Groups like the Alliance Defense Fund are trying to do something in the US. But as actively as they are trying to preserve freedom of faith with respect to family, education, and healthy morals, they are only one group willing to throw away their reputation for the good of anyone who calls themselves a child of God.
Now don’t go off accusing me of accusing you of causing the moral decline we are seeing all over the world and now creeping into God’s Chosen land and people. No one person is responsible for this. Our generation is reaping the lack of effort by the one before us. But what are we doing for the generation coming after us? When are we going to pick up the torch, grab the dropped baton, and fight for the religious freedoms that our children may not have in a few years’ time? A few years time? Am I resorting to fearmongering now? Heck no!!!
It only took maybe half a century to turn North America and Western Europe into the socially/politically blind continents that we now are. The past 20 years alone brought in a good majority of those who have perpetrated this blindness so thoroughly upon society, that articles such as this are akin to social blasphemy. They are political suicide, a recipe for making one a social outcast! Anyone who tries to stand up in the public square and verbalize something like this risks being hauled off to court for being narrow-minded, intolerant, and even hate-mongering!
Once again, God knew this would be the case. The Beatitudes display Christ encouraging us in how we should behave when such public treatment is levelled against us! We must take heart, we must gather courage, we must band together and stand tall for the cause of Christ! No we will not engage in the sins past incarnations of one particular global church denomination. We will not engage in Islamic-style terrorism. We will not behave as the Buddhists and Hindu groups in Indonesia and Northern India. Instead we will insist on freedom of religion, we will insist on recognizing God as God and the basic governing laws of the 10 Commandments as those that should rule our courts. We will pressure for a return to acknowledging the One who made our nations what they are today, and insist that we return to whole-hearted support of God’s Chosen People, the nation of Israel and her Jews.
However we must each stand up in the giftings God has given us. Whether that gifting is in speaking, or writing, or entering politics of the school/municipal/regional/national sort, or challenging people to action or teaching children/youth/young adults a Godly worldview. In whatever manner of communication God has given us, we must be actively pursuing the maintenance of our public faith and seeking to turn the hearts of our nations back to God Almighty!
Part Two!
Pink Fish Farms!
There are people who keep prayer journals for the sole purpose of looking back in years to come, to see how God met them in their times of prayer. I offer such a journal for sale over at Barnes & Noble. Then there are those who keep journals of what God tells and reveals to them, to look back over the years and see how God’s hand has moved in the lives of those around them. While I don’t sell a journal for that purpose, I have kept a folder on my various computers, a folder that has come with me through the years since 2000. Some of those files were created with tools that I don’t use anymore, and trying to resurrect them often involves deleting strange code around the words. But I still have them just the same.
The above piece, Pink Fishermen, was written to the Christian community, but behind the scenes, I was in shock at what was being allowed in the Jewish homeland! I found it very hard to believe that God’s Chosen people would do this, till God reminded me of the many times they fell for stuff like this during Bible times, let alone later in historical records.
Now, 17 years later, Romans 1 and 2nd Timothy 3 are more true than ever! But those passages are no longer merely kept to thinking adults choosing the ways of sin. Now, thanks to driving God out of the schools, those passages are being lived out by children as young as preschool in such countries as the UK and the USA. Here in Canada we have people in schools trying to push what we call up here SOGI 123, which is very pro-homosexual and pro-trans!
Today, I ran across THIS op-ed piece for Arutz 7: Israel National News! Here is one quote from this article:
But to answer the misconceived accusation from the Left, I’ll defer to what I wrote earlier:
“Should gays and transgenders be treated just like everybody else, without prejudice? Most would say yes. Of course.
“But the story changes when elements within their movement insist that mere acceptance isn’t good enough.
“They say that to be gay or transgender is something to be celebrated.” End of quote.
Celebrated?
Sorry, Leftists in America and Israel, that’s touting it too far, especially when “transitioning” from one gender to another is being pushed into the minds of our kids.
Lord have mercy on those who have managed to push this sodomy back onto the land of Israel! They know the story of Lot and his wife! It’s in the Torah! Oh Lord have mercy, and rescue the children of Your Chosen People!

Tonight I was asked if social media platforms are ruining our lives, or improving them. This was my response (literally, it was seriously this long!)
It all depends on how the tool is used. As with any tool, it can be used for ill or for good, for regression or for advancement. The platforms we now refer to as “Big Tech” discovered a market in selling personal details to advertisers to boost marketing efforts to get people to buy their stuff. On the one hand, getting to know your target market is extremely beneficial to how you design your packaging and word your offer so that you make a living doing what you do, whether as a freelancer or a corporation. But Big Tech went overboard and people don’t like what is being shared with advertisers.
When governments began asking for info on known criminals, this began with literally just criminals, suspects in crimes already committed. The danger began to surface when Apple woke up and realized that government requests to use iPhone backdoor entry was a privacy breach, that if they’d do that against criminals, who else would they do that to? It was a valid question! Since that question was asked, between then and the years that have passed between then and now, some governments have passed measures to limit a) what platforms are allowed to gather, and b) to disclose what they gather and how they use it, with an option for users to opt out of cookie tracking data, and even to request their data be deleted from the server. The EU put the GDPR into place for this very reason. Some countries elsewhere around the globe are considering following suit.
Unfortunately, we ended up with yet another case where control breeds greed, and now we have the EU putting a digital services act together that on the surface, makes a lot of sense, but below the surface, will put systems into place that will be used by the NWO whenever that finally comes to fruition.
When it comes to what people know about each other, what corporations know about their buyers, and what governments know about their citizens, the Age of Information has merely made such info easier to access, it was already being gathered in the past, but stored on paper in filing boxes is harder to get at than a digital database. The difference was that circles were smaller.
Living life in the public eye was a thing reserved for elites, actors and sports personalities and music groups. Now we all, one way or another, live in the public eye.
This shouldn’t mean we throw in the towel and give up on our privacy. It DOES mean we exercise wisdom and caution regarding what we share where with who over what method of communication. It isn’t necessary for the guy in Australia to know where the guy in Germany lives, nor is it necessary for Nike to know you like purple and your granddaughter wears it constantly.
For many years, people got upset occasionally that one arm of government couldn’t talk to the other arm and why did they have to fill out the same information multiple times on government forms?! Well, governments are learning how to merge their databases so that one set of info crosses all arms of government. 20 years ago, we would have seen this as a good thing, but the way things are going, it is shaping up to be a threat.
So what do we do?
A) We leave Big Tech as much as we can. For me, that’s involved de-googling as much as possible, leaving FB, Twitter, IG, and Youtube, being careful about new social platforms I try and ensuring that being able to be social is possible if a couple of them go down (parler anyone, wasn’t there but others were). I recently left Amazon and moved my books to B&N between March and May of this year.
B ) We exercise wisdom in who we share with and what we share. The fewer places on line that have your physical address and phone number, the better. For me, that’s uninstalling apps needing my phone number for as many as I can. Refusing to sign up to sites that demand a phone number (truth social won’t get my number). Filling in dummy data wherever possible (000-000-0000). Normally I do that when I don’t want to be contacted by phone. If a platform has privacy features, study them and learn how to use them! If a platform allows for private friends lists vs public sharing, keep family/friend stuff private and leave the public to news only. Even activism may not be able to stay public much longer.
C) Ever since I got online in 1994, I saw the Internet as the final frontier in missions! In the early 2000’s I found myself ministering to people online in prayer, Bible teaching, spiritual warfare training, and found that many who hid behind usernames, would be far more open to asking questions than those who used real names. The mission field online is huge! Hiding our faith online was like putting a lamp under a basket! Up to now, it’s been laudable to share your faith in public, but if governments and organizations get increasingly militant against anything that doesn’t go with the flow, online ministry may have to go private as well.
D) Whether you use an apple product or android or microsoft, do as little on your cellphone now as possible, and do as much on your desktop or laptop with a VPN as possible! Many VPN’s do offer apps for smartphones, and I have a referral link for anyone wanting to check out SurfShark, but your IP address is like your physical home address and occasionally, it has led authorities right to a person’s home! Just like your brother can’t find your new home without your new physical address, websites can’t deliver their webpages to your browser without knowing your IP either, so your IP is very useful! Unfortunately, it is also useful to those who have nefarious ideas too. You still need an IP online, but now it is best to use a VPN to get that IP!
I spent from 1995 to the last few years, as a certified A+ PC Repair Tech! I transitioned out of that into Biblical Natural Health Coaching as a Natural Health Practitioner, after getting my diploma in March of 2022. But I still pay attention to what is going on in the tech space. As an author since 2012, and as a self-employed entrepreneur, I have to market and promote my services or I don’t get sales. I appreciate that Gab, founded and run by a fellow Christian, is trying to encourage Christians to do business with each other and to build a parallel economy that he hopes is local to small business as well as online away from Big Tech. I haven’t made any sales over there yet, but he’s on his own servers, (MeWe is on Amazon’s AWS servers) building his own infrastructure to facilitate this.
As Christians, we are not to run from the technology of the day, we are to use it wisely. When you look down through history, God used the tech of the day for His purposes just as the enemy has done throughout history as well. We have to be cunning, wise, alert, careful, and do what we can with what we have while we have the ability to use it to encourage the Kingdom of God and to reach out to the lost. We are called to make a difference! We can’t do that when we hide. As a self-described hermit who shows up in public when I need to (hosting major events in the past for my church etc), I can say that the pandemic lockdowns made me feel almost caged in my own home! BUT. . . I could turn on my computer, start up my browser, and interact with fellow believers around the world!
When I look at what Scripture says is coming down the pipe for the future, the Internet isn’t going to go away, in fact it is necessary for the enablement of the Mark of the Beast! We see many props in place now for that method of economics to kick in, and while the WEF and others have play-acted what might happen if there was a massive Internet outage, we know with certainty that it couldn’t last very long as they themselves need this method of communication and delivery if they are to connect every compliant citizen around the globe.
What we DO NOT want to be doing, is buying smart speakers, smart TV’s, buying smart homes, etc! I was shocked at how soon people forgot the Sony Smart TV fiasco when it was discovered that user info was being stored on 3rd party servers who were recording everything spoken within range of the smart TV’s microphone! I was shocked at how many forgot the fiasco with Microsoft when their gaming system’s voice activated command system was hardwired to connect to the Internet with no way to disable it!
When you are online in your browser, you are able to turn off that browser. You can tape over the camera on your laptop. You can unplug the speaker/headset from your computer (you can’t with a laptop). Your smartphone however, is always listening. My household has experienced this first hand.
Be wise and remove as many “smart” devices from your home as you can. Learn to shut off your browser and disconnect when you leave the house. Don’t take the Internet with you! My smartphone is a wifi-only phone, so I can only get emails and texts and phone calls when I am connected to a source of wifi. This means I am not always reachable. That is a good thing!
Each person will be led by the Holy Spirit to behave online differently from others. But the call goes out to everyone, to be wise!!!

We’ve known at least since the mid-80’s, that plants had preferences for the types of music they liked and hated. We’ve known that plants wither or thrive based on how they are spoken to. Scientists began documenting the concept of stationery sentience at least back in the 80’s if not before, identifying plant ability to tell friend from foe, communicate where nutrients are, share nutrients and water with each other even of vastly different species, and most recently identifying the nerve-like root system of mushrooms being used much the way the human nervous system works, but with electronic “words” and “sentences” not just with each other but with trees and such too. I shared a link about that not long ago.
Scripture says God’s creation sings:
Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
Isaiah 44:23Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
Isaiah 49:13For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Isaiah 55:12
I’ve personally seen how, depending on the way the wind blows, tree branches can appear to “clap” their hands. One little blue spruce, maybe 2 or 3 feet tall, if that, made avid use of a windstorm one time to really try hard to get our attention, waving it’s branches the way a small child will when frantically trying to tell others to look at them! The movement was so similar to a child’s arms that it DID get my attention!
But now to read this article about this potted Snake Plant, and wow. . . I don’t often click the video portion that comes with many articles, I prefer reading over watching/listening. But this time I made an exception to see if they captured the plant’s music, and they did! I don’t agree with the owner’s religious perspectives, but imagine how the forest would sound if we could hear the plants and trees singing??? Click play on the video below to hear the story of this plant and listen to it sing.
